Foundation donors support grant requests from faculty, students, organizations, and other NAHS affiliates. At every grade level, grants support students as they pursue the academic, athletic, artistic, and other co-curricular opportunities that make up the NAHS experience. On average, 432 students benefit from each grant made possible by our supporters.

FAQs

NAHSF, Sports Boosters, and PTSA

All three of these not-for-profit organizations support the NAHS community. The NAHSF funds grants that fill budget gaps between APS and specific needs of our students and faculty. The NAHSF’s work complements organizations like the PTSA and Sports Boosters, which focus on community building, volunteering, and school-wide student enrichment.

How will Foundation funds be used in the future?

The Foundation will continue to support and fund specific, high priority needs at North Atlanta High School, with the goal of promoting academic excellence and encouraging superior achievement for every student in all areas of school life.

What about a Capital Campaign?

The Foundation has set aside seed funding from our annual fundraising revenue for capital projects as they arise. Capital projects funded by the NAHS Foundation must align with the bylaws of the Foundation.

I’m a NAHS alumnus/alumna. How can I support the NAHSF?

Alumni are a critical part of the NAHS community and we are proud that NAHS Alumni serve on the Foundation Board and support the Foundation mission. The success stories, ongoing involvement, and support of alumni demonstrate the tremendous potential of our students as they graduate and pursue further education and careers. Looking to North Atlanta’s Future

In addition to small grants tied to a particular school year, the NAHS Foundation is also looking ahead to NAHS’s long-term future and role in the City of Atlanta.
